Noir Nites

It's not that I have been living under a rock, but due to the fact that I spend most of my energy on my art/weeklies I barely found out that Rachel Youens of Austin Style Watch nominated me for Team Fabrication's Best Dressed Female! I am sooo flattered! Nominations ended on the 18th and the awards ceremony is on November 22nd at Mohawk! It's the same night as DJ Fame at Black and Tan, so I will be running between venues that night fasho.

My good friend Josh Valdez took some lovely pictures today of me and my favorite outfits of the moment. I was hanging out at his apartment the other night looking at style blogs and I joked how I wish I had a boyfriend who photographed me in my outfits everyday. He volunteered to photograph me in a few outfits for my blog and Lookbook.nu. So now I have better pictures that my shitty self-timer shots.

Anyhoo, I hope you all enjoyed the outfits! Let me know what you think. I really haven't worn any color in the past 2 weeks (except for maybe my red shoes or a scarf). I like it a lot. I am constantly thinking of putting away all colored items in my closet and trying to fill it with only black and white clothes...
